The newest addition to Edit Heaven's local storage solutions EH-RAID disk arrays deliver superb performance - up to dual-stream uncompressed HD - with fail-safe RAID protection. Available in high-capacity 5-configurations with an Ultra SCSI interface, drive arrays continue to operate at near full performance, and without loss of data, should a drive fail within the unit. Uses 24x7 industrial drives for long life and reliability.

Protects valuable content and maximises productivity. In the event of a disk drive failure, these disk arrays continue to operate without loss of data and at near full performance. Unlike other RAID solutions which may be unusable during a drive rebuild, these maintain near full performance whilst rebuilding in the background.

EH-RAID supports both RAID 0 (striping) and fail-safe RAID 3 (striping with parity) and 0+1(striping with total mirroring) modes of operation. When your workflow requires the largest available online storage capacity, simply configure the system as a RAID 0. When data security is paramount, EH-RAID RAID 3 mode of operation provides full-time data protection of your valuable content.

EH-RAID provides up to 2000 GB of high performance storage capacity for demanding content creation applications. In failsafe RAID 3 mode, EH-RAID will continue to operate at full performance and without loss of data in the event of disk drive failure - your data is protected - the ultimate peace of mind! EH-RAID features five hot-swap drive modules that allow you to remove and replace a failed module (when operating in the RAID 3 mode) without losing data or interrupting work in progress. Hot-swapping a failed drive module results in automatic background reconstruction of the system. Since the contents of the failed drive are rebuilt in the background on the replacement drive module, EH-RAID remains completely functional, eliminating any costly downtime. EH-Raid provides up to 1600 GB of useable high-performance storage when configured as a RAID 3. On start up drives are powered sequentially to reduce power surges. 2 or more systems can be striped together for greater performance without risking lower overall reliability.
